Well, Paul, from everything that I have read about Saturday's street theater extravaganza, it would appear that for once America's loony lefties managed to behave themselves in public: no reports of arson, mayhem, muggings, or other anarchistic activities. There may yet be hope for civil discourse with the apoplectic Progressives in this country. It was troubling, however, to see posters and hear speakers loudly calling for the assassination of government officials and police officers, their wives and children but then, what the heck, it was only colorful expressions of free speech. These neo-Bolsheviks would never actually shoot anyone who was peacefully exercising their free speech rights under the US Constitution, now would they? Political violence is only the purview of conservative White Christian Nationalists after all. Have a great week, my friend. I see that you are once again replacing reality with empty rhetoric. Don’t forget that our nation was founded by radical progressives who it today’s language would be called woke. During our founding years, conservatives were allied with Britain and our founding principles are almost exclusively built onto the foundation of the Scottish Enlightenment, not the Christian Church.
Those stubborn and brilliant Scottish scholars who were sometimes pastors too, made it quite clear that religion was not the basis of our founding. The only arrest I am aware of and yes, I’ve looked was that of a Texas man plotting to shoot those of us true patriots, supporting the protests in heart, body and soul. I was a proud attendee and witnessed first-hand the truth, devoid of any such nonsense that you are again babbling about.
As we discussed at last breakfast, there can be no discussion when one side, us Antifa patriots are looking at reality while you and your precious Republican Party have their feet immobilized in concrete conspiracy theories. Now if y’all begin discussing reality, there are options but until that time… such discussions are a waste of good oxygen.

My apologies for not responding earlier to your most gracious note which you sent before we left for Morocco. We were suddenly and unexpectedly inundated with a lot of last minute details before our departure. I meant to get back with you after we returned (0300 Sunday) but a 29-hour travel day coupled with the worst GI-tract infection I've ever experienced put the Kabosch on those fine intentions. I am only now beginning to feel slightly better but not by much.
I truly appreciated your political satire and whimsical humor in the various pronouncements in your post. Collectively they should be awarded Politi-Facts prestigious "Pants on Fire" award. Truly hilarious.
It was sad to read of the passing of one of our country's great contemporary heroes, former Vice President Dick Cheney. As he enters the hallowed halls of Valhalla, may he rest in honored repose amongst the many great heroes of our grand Republic.
It appears Tuesday's election results in CA, NYC, NJ and VA went as expected. It proves the adage to "never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." It would appear that the Democratic People's Republic of Kalifornia (DPRK) is one step closer to imposing the dictatorship of the proletariat on the state's long suffering citizenry. NYC voters elected a Bolshevik anti-Semitic jihadist as their mayor and the Commonwealth of Virginia's newly elected Attorney General blatantly fantasizes about murdering police officers, their wives and their children. These results prove that tribal politics are alive and well within the Democratic Party electorate. Apparently Democrat voters would rather curse the darkness than light a candle.
Hopefully we can get together for breakfast next week. At the moment I do not trust my bodily functions in public. I will pass along the book on our sadly deceased friend, Yevgeniy Prigozhin. I think you will find it extremely enlightening.
