Don't let the GOP, put any more lipstick on their pig.

This is just a short PSA about something that most of us are experiencing. Ever since Tuesday night, we are seeing countless social media posts from the MAGA GOP, crowing obnoxiously about how patriotic and God-loving they are. As I have discussed continually for over two years and supported always by facts, there isn’t a damn thing patriotic nor God loving about the Republican Party agenda, a.k.a. Project 2025, in the Trump era. Not one thing!

All of their flowery rhetoric about patriotism, is simply dishonest rhetoric and them trying to justify the fact that they can never run away from. I refuse to acknowledge this dishonesty and no one else should either. They are literally doing as the old saying says, “putting lipstick on a pig, and calling it a prom queen.”

That one fact that they are attempting to cover up is: Every single Republican vote was not for country, it was to impose a convicted rapist, 34 count convicted felon, traitor, leader of an armed insurrection, snake oil salesman, businessperson that does not pay his bills to working class people and a racist, onto the American people and the world.

I understand that many of our families and friends say they intended to vote for “conservative values” and they truly believe this. It is much more difficult to remain furious with family and friends, if they believe they are doing the right thing. The sticking point though, is that they have been brainwashed with far-right media like FOX News. This media in simple terms, makes them DeFacto Russian propaganda distributors, often verbatim such as Tucker Carlson programming. The hard part for honest folks, like those who read TAT and other similar publications like SpyTalk, Heather Cox Richardson, Robert Reich etc., is how to go forward with these family members and friends. This requires intense soul-searching. I’m working on how to find this way forward as well. I wish you better luck than I have had so far.

One last thing, Trump will have us allied with Putin within months at the earliest or within 2-3 years, at the latest. This will also then include by default, Xi, KJU, Modi and Iran, because they are allied with Putin. Let that sink in. I will address this in-depth, in the coming month. First, let’s take a deep, healing breath and then get up, dust ourselves off and climb back into the saddle. It’s time to ride, if we are to save our republic.

Let’s heal relationships where we can, and fight back, when and where we must. Our way of life is at stake, and this is a sober assessment, devoid of hyperbole.
