I don’t know whether the actions of ICE in a largely Hispanic community were intended to cause the protests. For me it is the lack of communication that caused the issue.
Refusing to talk with the state’s elected leaders before the deployment of the National Guard is primary.
The second is the push to detain and deport 3K migrants a day has led to ICE just grabbing the easiest targets to meet a quota rather than going through legal procedures.
But both problems are not problems for the regime, they are intentional.
The optics are typical for MSM and social media. It is clicks and eyes that drives the money.
With a tv obsessed tyrant, it could have been one Mexican throwing a rock at ICE and he would have still activated the National Guard.
His whole campaigns have been based on showing one bad hombre to justify that all Mexicans are criminals.
He said it when he first announced.
So I am not surprised.
So far he has kept all of the vile and stupid campaign promises but lied about anything that might actually make America great.

Well said. As for the provocation, yes, there is clear evidence of intent to provoke via target selection, tactics employed and commitment to a long established strategy by the powers-that-be within the administration’s most elite circles, especially the Heritage Foundations, Project 2025 crowd.
