Thank you for the kind and poignant words, Sue. Yes, I’m right behind you in age and this is how you, me and one hundred million of our fellow voters feel as well. Hang in there as that there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Americans that believe in our founding principles have always had the strength to see us through the most painful parts of our history. This one will be no different, despite the difficulties that lie ahead. None of are in this alone and in fact, the more we unify over principles rather than partisanship, the politics will sort themselves out as they should.
It’s always encouraging for me to have readers with deep emotional ties to who we should be as a nation. Thank you for inspiring me to stay at my keyboard.
