I agree that part of the reason to cover faces is that they don’t want to receive personal attention and scrutiny from friends, or neighbors. I’m sure the family knows but perhaps if the agent has kids do not know details.
It definitely is not a badge of pride to say I detained and deported children with cancer. Not exactly hero making actions.
