Talking to our hard-headed MAGA family and friends
Oldies but goodies
TAT readers,
I’m off to the heart of the homeland today for a family reunion, but will share a couple of previous essays that may be of assistance to all of you, embarking to your own reunions. I have previously written a few essays that included in their title, “Open Letters.” These essays were not simply from me to you, but also meant to be helpful in with your engagements with Republican family, friends and neighbors.
In the near future I will be penning an Op-Ed to my local paper here in San Antonio, about what my current and former Republican Congressmen are painfully imposing on all of us, via their submissive and constant support to our current Republican administration. I will add this Op-Ed to this list when finished. It’s not about Trump alone. Every time that only mention his name, without adding Republican Party and Republican voters, we allowing Republican voters and our elected representatives off the hook for their complicity in overthrowing our constitutional republic and in the most cruel, illegal manner possible.
The difficult part of including voters in our criticism is an understandably difficult task but a decade into their insanity, it must be done and with all haste. How to go about this requires some delicate but firm honesty. I sincerely hope that having the insights in the following essays, will produce some positive responses, with the least amount of conflict.
If you’ve seen these before and found them helpful, no worries about rereading. If you find them valuable and are willing to share them, I and our nation would be grateful for any progress sharing brings. Please, no pressure from me to do so. Since my content is always free anyway, I don’t offer this for financial benefit. I have had impressive feedback that these open letters, were helpful in mellowing tension between Republicans and the rest of us, while also successful in rescuing some of the bewitched. This is encouraging and the reason that I do pound my keyboard a couple times a week. Yes, on some subjects, my keys do occasionally do take a beating. ;)
Wishing all of you the very best for the weekend. Back Monday or Tuesday and will rejoin the fray. The essays are below.
Paul
