Protecting pedophiles isn't an American value but sure as hell is a Republican one!
"Strike while the iron is hot"
TAT readers,
First, I’d like to apologize for not getting a second essay out yesterday. After publishing the first, the rest of the day yesterday turned into one of those days that was one phone call after another. Today, it’s time to focus on ending the one thing that Republicans have enabled now for years, exposing the US president’s deep affiliation with an international, child sexual abuse and trafficking ring, run by the infamous, Jeffery Epstein and his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell. I see this as one of the most opportune issues capable of dismantling a lawless and unconstitutional Republican Party and their dear leader.
Fascism "An authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization. The term Fascism was first used of the totalitarian right-wing nationalist regime of Mussolini in Italy (1922–43), and the regimes of the Nazis in Germany and Franco in Spain were also Fascist. Fascism tends to include a belief in the supremacy of one national or ethnic group, a contempt for democracy, an insistence on obedience to a powerful leader, and a strong demagogic approach." - Oxford reference library
Over the first term of Trump and now early into his second, Trump, fully and subserviently enabled by the entire GOP, including their voters, have been taking a hatchet to our constitution and true American values. They are turning America into an autocratic, oligarchical and Christian Nationalist, government best described as fascist. Due to Republican control of both houses of congress, not one thing beneficial to the American people has occurred. All the GOP has done, is enable billionaires, oligarchs, racists, misogynists and of course, pedophiles, while that we pay the bills for their fascist agendas.
At every turn, the Republican Party has enabled this Project 2025 fascist coup by Trump and the GOP, and for the sole purpose of greed and power, which they support by a radical and immoral fascist ideology. So long as Republicans are still in control of Congress, Trump’s decades long affiliations with Epstein have been one of the few acute vulnerabilities that they have faced. As a deeply experienced influence operator, I would consider this Republican Epstein debacle, the perfect issue to exploit in order to slow, stop or reverse the trajectory of the GOP’s coup attempt.
Why now?
There are several reasons but more than any other single one, the slow-growing fractures in their base, are widening after the GOP’s cruel, sadistic shutdown and attacks on the healthcare of over 40 million Americans. In addition to these items, the resistance is growing and becoming far louder that at any other time since January 20th. Republican voters have largely begun hiding on mainstream social media platforms, and mainstream news outlets are finally beginning to show a bit of gumption in their reporting about what’s really going on within the administration. Some of the other high-profile actions taken by the administration that have weighed heavily on the consciences of American voters are:
Unconstitutional and illegal use of active duty, reserve and national guard units in our streets to support administration policies built on dishonesty, and cruelty, dismantling the Dept. of Education, attacks on the VA’s staffing and regulations, detaining US citizens in hostile immigration raids, failures to obey court orders, grotesque subservience by Republican-led states regarding dishonest and un-American redistricting, constant abuse of our economy, loss of jobs, inflation, stranding our national security community isolated from our allies, while buffering Putin from any serious repercussions for his election interference. Trump’s bromance with Putin may have hit some rough spots but is still intact. This list could go on for pages and pages, but I believe that we all get the point by now.
Republican Congressmen have been in hiding almost from the beginning of Trump’s second term. They are deservedly abused at townhalls in their district for rubber-stamping all of the evil perpetrated by their dear leader, who’s Project 2025 approach to modifying the US system of government, looks eerily like Hitler’s “Nazification Plan” in pre-WW II, Germany. Yes, Trump is a fan of Hitler as well. This probably explains his deep affinity for Putin too.
Today’s support for what the GOP is doing to America, is slipping and Trump’s approval rating remains in the doldrums. Even some of Trump’s most energetic media outlets, like Fox News, are tempering some of their typically dishonest rhetoric.
Corporations are shaken and these matter a great deal to Trump and the party. They are their financial lifelines and buying votes for him is beginning to impact their bottom line. Just this morning I read how that Sinclair Broadcasting’s earnings fell 16.9% after attempting to please Trump by banning Jimmy Kimmel. Trump’s demented dementia, is now costing his favorite billionaires money, their most vulnerable trait.
The last “No Kings” rallies were massive and for anyone paying attention, ICE, CBP and others involved in the Republican’s assault on the rights of US citizens, legal residents or otherwise, have somewhat slowed since that Saturday of No Kings rallies. Trump does not have the military in his pocket as he believed he would by this phase of his Project 2025 agenda. He’s increasingly isolating himself from those he needs to complete his coup.
The bottom line is, that we’ve not had this much opportunity nor support in the resistance since the transition from President Biden, to Trump, and it’s growing daily. I’ve always preached that there are lines that you cannot cross with Americans and our liberty is a primary line. I long believed that this line would have been crossed before this, but it is materializing now, and it’s powerful. Trump and his oligarchical backers, don’t have a clue about America, nor our unique identity that revolves around liberty. Their failure to understand and acknowledge this line at all, is a testament to their greed, where the only knowledge they care about, comes from the ledgers of their profit/ loss sheets.
Trump and the Republican Party are little more than the foot soldiers of the greedy billionaires that pay them to rewrite tax codes and other laws that only benefit themselves, at the expense of the rest of us. Just like the Robber Baron era or the Gilded Age, Americans are not willing to be subdued by greedy, protected oligarchs. It is no curiosity either, that the Yellow Journalism era fit nicely in with the Robber Barons of old. Today, there are only a small number of international media conglomerates that control all that we read, see and hear. They are via their massive campaign donations, Trump and the GOP’s co-conspirators. Trump isn’t intelligent enough to develop such a strategy on his own and the spineless GOP are so-subservient to their masters, that they incapable of such a strategy.
Now my friends and fellow citizens, our national security is at its worst since the Civil War and our populace, is beginning to see this. Oddly, so many on the left and right believed by way of GOP false narratives that America was safe, are coming to see that our national crime data shows that crime, including violent crime is still on a 30-year-long decline. Domestically, the only increase in crime, is by this administration and their hired guns.
What should we do in order to exploit this opportunity. If I were to put a name to such an operation, I would call it, “Kickem while they’re down.” When your adversary has the full weight of the US government behind them, we must take advantage of the few opportunities we get, as fast and massively as possible. Don’t wait on a feckless DNC either. They have shown themselves relatively impotent across the board and the truth is, the resistance is an American movement, not a Democratic Party movement. That’s the key narrative for the resistance in a nutshell.
How do we go after Trump and the GOP now… make everything about Epstein and Republican obstructionism in protecting him and the rest of the pedophiles. Even the most hardcore and brainwashed MAGA types are struggling to support protecting Trump’s involvement in child sex trafficking and abuse. Be it the Bible Belt or the Rust Belt, there is real shame over this issue. This shows that they still have some humanity and free will in them and now it’s time to help them reconnect even more, with being a real patriot of moral standing. Unlike the gross, inhumanity on constant display from the White House and the halls of congress, America still has somewhat a conscience. If we can bond with the opposition to protect children and women, we can build on that connection. Its the first step on the road back to less hyper-partisanship.
Finally, we must overwhelm all media with demands to open the Epstein files to the public. This requires that all of us are as aggressive as possible in posting such demands while concurrently demanding our Republican congressmen take the actions to make the release of the files happen. Pictures of Trump with Epstein, interviews with their victims, and every other shred of news pertaining to the Epstein files must flood social media, local newspapers and news stations, on TV or radio. Social media must become and remain, wallpapered with our demands and our blame of the Republican Party for protecting their pedophiles.
Be forewarned, Trump and the GOP will throw a great many diversions our way, to be distracted from the Epstein issues. Their culture wars are nothing but bait to distract us. No influence campaign succeeds when you allow the opposition to control what people are talking about. We must focus like never before if we want this to succeed. They have been “throwing spaghetti against the wall” to see what sticks now for weeks, as attempted diversions from Epstein. When they do this, simply respond with all things Epstein and Trump. This way, the pendulum will swing back towards morality and then the administration will be on the defensive.
In influence, you can’t win being solely on the defensive. In my specialty, Narrative Warfare, being first out with your own narrative and maintaining at least 50% of interest in it, cuts the opposition off from controlling narratives. The DNC has never learned this and their persistent procedure of only responding, is the equivalent to planning to lose. We must not follow in the DNC’s footsteps. They are beyond clueless as campaigners in influence.
If we must, we need to overwhelm local newspapers and news outlets with demands for investigation and to not protect local congressmen from their roles in covering up for Trump. I would hope that the organizers of the No Kings rallies would plan for another rally, where the entire focus is on exposing the pedophiles and sex trafficking men who abused over a thousand young women, some as young as 11. In short, we must force this issue into the top and dominant news story, until we break the GOP’s will to protect them.
The last thing I will say, is that only a fool would overlook this opportunity. The longer we allow this administration to act without regard for the law, the more shame that we bring to ourselves. As a father of daughters and granddaughters, my dedication to putting these evil men in prison and being exposed, has no limits. As an American sworn to, “protect and defend the constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic,” I could hardly call myself a patriotic American if I did not do all possible to support the morality of our constitution and founding documents, from men and women like Trump and every single sitting Republican congressman, attempting to undo 250 years of American liberty, ever pursuing, “a more perfect union.”
Let’s do this,
Paul
