TAT readers,
It’s crunch time with the election but a week away. Both campaigns are making their final arguments in hopes of leading the most powerful and generous nation on the planet. One campaign represents American Values and the other… the Trump/ MAGA campaign, the precise opposite. Last night’s fascist freak show at Madison Square Garden, was proof, beyond a shadow of a doubt. Whether a voter likes VP Harris or Democratic policy or not, is not the issue. The issue is that a vote for any GOP candidate, is a vote for what was on display last night, at Trump’s rally, of pure, unadulterated fascism.
I know and love a great many Republicans, that do in fact consider themselves “conservatives”, but they are virtually unseen in today’s MAGA controlled GOP. Their votes are meaningless so long as the Trumpian, pro-Putin and pro-fascist crowd controls the party agenda. Any vote, regardless of the good intentions of the voter for the GOP, will support the hideous, conspiracy theory-driven hate on display at the Garden last night. Those votes will also support the end of our constitutional republic, should the 2024 GOP Platform or its evil twin, Project 2025 be the transition plan. The roaring approval of the crowd at last night’s event, proudly declared that Trump and MAGA, are the antithesis of our national values, not the patriots they believe themselves to be.
P.T. Barnum would have been pleased at the freak show and carnival atmosphere, but this bold entrepreneur and passionate defender of the Union before, during and post the Civil War, would have despised the fascist rhetoric of Trump’s disgraceful circus.
Every credible news service that I follow covered this professionally produced disgrace, and the coverage was condemnatory across the board.

It wasn’t the first time that Madison Square Garden hosted Nazis and Nazi-themed hate and fake patriotism. A February of 1939 Nazi rally at the Garden was another conspicuous display of anti-American fascism. The 1939 event even had the disgraceful audacity to hoist an enormous display of our first and only independent POTUS, on stage behind the speakers, as if doing so would confer a tiny bit of patriotism onto the fascists, replete with Nazi uniforms. A scant 7 months later, Hitler would start WW II and attempt to impose by force and untold cruelty, his pro forma Fascism onto the entire world. When the US entered the war more than two years later, MSG rally goers of 1939 quietly and shamefully then folded their “brownshirt” uniforms and tucked them away until the Trump era. Now, those little red, Make America Great Again hats, have replaced the brownshirts and Heil Hitler salutes of 1939.

Historically, MAGA’s “America First” ideology is not only un-American, but decidedly anti-American values. Please see the quote below and yes, if it sounds like today’s MAGA movement, it’s because it is exactly what powers MAGA and Trump.
"This toxic brew of racism, anti-Semitism, and xenophobia increasingly found its way into a growing isolationist movement that crested in 1940 with the establishment of the America First Committee. Bankrolled by several top corporate leaders, the America First Committee was determined to prevent the United States from becoming involved in what it labeled, disparagingly, “Europe’s wars.” And as fascist military forces swept from triumph to triumph, it emerged as America’s largest isolationist organization. Although the 800,000 America First members had a variety of political opinions, many of them held anti-Semitic views and sympathized with the Nazis." - The Ugly Origins of Trump’s “America First” Policy/ With this phrase, the former president is connecting himself to the Ku Klux Klan and outright fascist movements - FPIF/ Foreign Policy in Focus - Lawrence S. Wittner - March 19, 2024
Below are just seven of the shocking excerpts from last night’s travesty. These come from this morning’s article in Newsweek. Last night, no one from the MAGA podium, decried the overt hate, racism, vulgarity etc. Those in attendance, bellowed with laughter and offered frenetic support for the extremist barrage, hurled from many of the on the stage, speakers.
1. Tony Hinchcliffe, a stand-up comic, said: "I don't know if you guys know this, but there's literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. Yeah. I think it's called Puerto Rico." 2. "Believe it or not, people, I welcome migrants to the United States of America with open arms. And by open arms, I mean like this," Hinchcliffe said, while waiving his hands and mouthing: "No, go back." He added: "It's wild. And these Latinos, they love making babies too, just know that. They do, they do. There's no pulling out. They don't do that. They come inside, just like they did to our country." 3. Hinchcliffe also pointed to a man in the audience before saying: "That's cool, Black guy with a thing on his head. What the hell is that, a lamp shade? Look at this guy! Oh, my goodness. Wow! I'm just kidding, that's one of my buddies. He had a Halloween party last night. We had fun, we carved watermelons together. It was awesome!" 4. "In fact, she is the devil, whoever screamed that out. She is Antichrist," said David Rem, a sanitation worker billed as Trump's childhood friend, although it has been reported the pair met for the first time just two weeks ago. 5. "Kamala Harris is the least qualified candidate to ever run for any political office in American history," businessman Grant Cardone told the crowd. "She makes her boss look competent. She's a fake. I'm not here to invalidate her. She's a fake, a fraud. She's a pretender. Her and her pimp handlers will destroy our country. They will." 6. "I just got back from Israel about two weeks ago. They love Trump in Israel. Just you know, they love him," radio personality Sid Rosenberg said. "I get back and they go, 'Sid, you want to speak at this MSG thing?' I go, 'Sure—out of character for me to speak at a Nazi rally. I was just in Israel.' But I took the gig." 7. 'Sick Son of a B****' "She is some sick b******, that Hillary Clinton, huh?" Rosenberg said. "What a sick son of a b****. The whole f****** party. A bunch of degenerates. Lowlives, Jew-haters, and lowlives. Every one of 'em. Every one of 'em." - Seven Shocking Remarks Made at Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden Rally - Newsweek - October 28, 2024
This is the type of material that populates nearly every MAGA campaign product. The demonization of opponents, humiliation and abuse heaped onto minority populations, political opponents and threats of violence against anyone without a zombie-like devotion to Trump and MAGA ideology. These features are a literal playbook from how Nazi, Germany ran their campaigns.
MAGA devotees are, whether they see it or acknowledge it themselves what the Soviets and now Russians call, “reflexively controlled”. In lay terms, this simply means brainwashed and capable of being subconsciously controlled in person, with media or in a group. That is exactly what an R vote means in today’s America. There’s nothing at all wrong with a principled conservative, but what the hell does that have to do with being a Republican in the Trump era?
Last night’s abomination is exactly the shameful legacy that will be worn by Trump/ MAGA followers and their families, for generations. This is why I have written a few times on reaching out to those under the influence of collaborative Trump/ Russian influence operations. These influence operations began long before the Trump era but for at least four decades, our national security community responsible for defending us from these omnipresent threats, have been abject failures.
These overpaid and under-performing defense contractor projects, largely considered by experienced professionals to be, waste, fraud and abuse, have cost billions and provided nearly nothing, for forty years or so. This is why reaching out and trying to help MAGA family and friends, is the only current answer. DHS and the FBI, who have the primary role of defending the homeland, don’t even understand the problem and believe that there is a technology answer for everything. The Pentagon and the IC/ Intelligence Community are no better and in fact, are most likely worse. Here in the South, such thinking would draw a “bless your heart” response, from anyone who truly understands influence from a national security perspective.
In eight days, we will determine the future of our nation. Whether we continue as a functioning constitutional republic or a dystopian, fascist nation based on Project 2025 and its mirror imaged, 2024 GOP Platform is up to citizens, not politicians. It is up to every single one of us to vote for our republic, or the fascism of what we witnessed at the Madison Square Garden, Trump rally last night. There is no middle ground. There will be no “do-overs” and we’re working without a safety net.
Trump followers cannot be shamed any longer. Professionally speaking, if someone is still a Trump and MAGA loyalist after watching a decade of his treason, armed insurrection, theft, and flaunting of our constitution, they will most certainly, vote for him again and his down-ballot candidates as well. I have explained the psychology of this in two detailed previous essays. They are linked below for those with interest.
Last night at the Garden was not an exception, it was the rule for MAGA and especially Trump. Just because he didn’t speak all of the words last night doesn’t change a thing. It’s who he is, and his lemmings will mimic anything he says or does. The only way to stop this insanity with so little time left until next Tuesday, is to ensure that those who wish to sustain our republic, vote. It is exactly, that simple. It has nothing to do with politics. It’s about stopping a stopping Trump’s slow-roll, civil war.
My very best for your week,
Paul
Preferably a team of anti MAGA psychiatrists
Paul, This article sounds like you are hyperventilating, my friend. Breathing into a brown paper bag often helps with this affliction.. On a different note, I saw the comment by our mutual friend, Giles, that you have been tossed off LI again. Do you know when LI's Liberal gatekeepers will let you come out and play again?
