A couple of quick notes
TAT readers,
I just wanted to pass along a couple of notes to readers and updates.
First, last evening something connected to my laptop, ate the last section of my recent essay, Let’s talk about making it to the Midterms. I would be hard-pressed to recreate the missing content, especially on a very busy day. I just wanted everyone to understand, and I do apologize.
So, until I figure out what happened with my laptop (it’s fairly old, like its user), I will do my best with my iPad. If I don’t get something out today, I will get a piece out tomorrow.
Next, a friend and subscriber reminded me about keeping an eye on the Heritage Foundation’s follow-up plan to Project 2025, called Project Esther. Like its predecessor, Esther is a complicated and intricately woven conspiracy theory meant to reinforce the draconian components of The Four Horsemen of the MAGA Apocalypse, Autocracy, Oligarchy, White Christian Nationalism and political violence. Its stated goals though are pure, far-right, authoritarian lies. I will go into this more in-depth, when I get a chance to look outside our more immediate threats, like the ongoing coup.
Finally, remain vigilant as that some progress is being made, despite the lack of media focus and significant focus by the DNC. More Americans of most political parties, are daily joining the fight and learning that speaking out. More to follow on this as well.
Time to get on to the next chore around here. Thank you all for your continued and expanding readership and for allowing back into your homes to give you these updates.
Cheers and remember, it’s almost Friday!
Paul
