Ask yourself what is the laziest, most cynical, most destructive thing that they could do. And voila, this is what pops up. My remedy: Video record everything you see that's sketchy and call the police at he first sign of trouble.
Having participated in most social movements starting with the Coffee Party's response to the rise of the Tea Party, law enforcement facilitated trouble is the norm. Sadly, the only thing I've ever seen that worked to stop it was a credible threat of violence from the otherwise peaceful protesters themselves. By Any Means Necessary is a fringe lefty group, they'd show up at events in Michigan, wind up crowd/cops, then depart. Once the pattern was recognized, a pair of the worst had an off site counseling session with a half a dozen Teamsters, and that was the end of that.
