Liberal democracies were once protected by the USA. Its fall would be the fall of a very big domino, and it will take others with it.
Try to remember your fighting for the freedom of the rest of the world too.
Indeed, the abdication of our global leadership, is the biggest and first domino. The truth is, Steve Bannon still has a voice and has long advocated for anarchy, chaos and a rebuilding as a fascist paradigm. True operators are experienced with and use chaos to allow them the freedom to do as required. Most of what we see today is straight out of Putin’s old Soviet playbook. Those who worked professionally against the Soviets, are painfully familiar with that playbook. Trump also wields Hitler’s and his NAZI regime’s lessons as clubs against all democracy, as you have noted. It will take the resolve of the Allies during WW II to dislodge these evil thugs from our government.
