Yes - which is why I have been mum about this….

The people of Israel have surprised me in a good way and I feel for all. I am glad they are smarter, as a whole, than our fellow Americans (no offense just reality).

Particularly with being able to function in an environment full of such dueling “truths” that only mastery in paradoxical thinking can lead to success.

Paradoxically, a person who values their duty to country/state/government in a democracy has less agency than an individual who chooses to join a terrorist organization amidst anarchy. Yet, that doesn’t mean the individual who lives in a democratic country lacks free will - just that the calculus is much more complicated.

This is why the rule of law is so important because for as much as it binds the protection it affords is exponentially greater. This protection grants greater freedom than anarchy or authoritarianism could ever provide.

At the end of the day to me not enough people attention is paid to Russia influencing/playing both sides… that is pretty black and white to me.

Thanks as always for your insights Rogelio. We are largely in agreement. I do believe that most US media, that is considered responsible understands the inherent threat and capabilities of Putin's Russia but don't understand how to "connect the dots" or how to explain what the connected dots mean. I also don't see Russia playing "both sides." In my analysis, Putin in the Trump era and which continues in today's Republican Party, Putin is quite straight forward due to his narratives/ talking points are readily disseminated by a party, dominated by extremists and whose identity has been conditioned by the Fox News and similar to Pavlovian status. They simply repeat Putin's points verbatim or close to it.

The saddest part, the US National Security community has zero clue what to do and how to reverse the conditioning. The key is understanding and prosecuting Narrative Warfare professionally. Ninety-nine per cent of the community doesn't even understand what narrative is, let alone operate with it. DoD wants to but is settled on a bunch of defense contractors who clearly are clueless and DHS/ FBI, are not even interested. All the above believe that technology will save them. It's a fool's errand and puts the US at extreme risk, increasingly so as the months tick by.

Thanks again for joining the conversation.

Narrative here being what you do not see - the Russian connection is the narrative. Bibi certainly had a notable relatiosnhip and it could be it has corrupted him given the ukranian/russian/israeli mafia/intel mess that is so complex that is hard for me to explain but is a glaring entity that no one wants to acknowledge. I could be totally off on this and defer to your expertise to tell me i'm once again wrong.

But, I think the peopel of Israel see it, which is why they also want to hold Bibi to account. Prior to running afowl of Russia by weakly supporting Ukraine. IMO - Bibi was hedging his bets towards BRICs given US "liberals" have been less supportive of Israel and increasingly pro-palestine to the point that Hamas' (terrorist) behavior ends up being glossed over.

The narrative being that Russia is punishing Israel via Hamas in palestine and that Bibi benefit from Russia in his anti-democratic efforts in Israel, I think is fair. In particular with how opaque everything is in the information environment that trying to form an opinion based on MSM or social media is futile besides continuing to demand Israel do what is right while condeming terrorism. Knowing that war is hell, and the agressor here was Hamas (a proxy of Russia) enabled to a degree Bibi cozying up with Putin for political reasons.

Despite Bibi and his enablers the US should strongly support Israel on the basis of it being a democracy, its people commitment to keeping it one, and the right of the country to defend itself.

All good thoughts Rogelio and in my opinion, your assertion is but a part of the overall narrative. While that Putin is certainly enjoying the added benefit that Bibi is being hurt, and Israel, the overall narrative is as I have presented it in this series of reports/ updates. There is in fact, an axis of evil that is behind all of this, with Xi at the top and Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and others at the bottom doing the dirty work. Russia and Iran both are merely middle men contributing and pot stirring for their own selfish purposes.
