Thanks for your kind words George and yes, quite hard to write. As a lifelong optimist, I do agree that somehow, we’ve allowed “mean” to take precedence over morality. I do firmly believe in most humans being good and that if led by moral leaders, local and higher, it would tip the scales towards our better angels.
