It is a difficult decision. However, not all countries will accept Americans fleeing. So as time passes, the choices may be limited.

I too am staying. If I left, I would be unable to actually rest. I would be worried about what is happening to those I love, who stayed behind.

I’m both an optimist and a realist. I hope and truly believe that this will be a defining point in our country’s history, where we in the resistance can fulfill our commitment to build a more perfect union.

However, I know that with any resistance, revolution or war, there will be casualties.

If you stay, it is important than ever to start building communities to help each other through this ordeal.

There will also be people who are unaffected by the changes, they will adapt and comply. Their obedience to authority is so ingrained, that they will see those who are fighting as the enemy.

Be prepared to be betrayed, not everyone is on our side.

Sorry for the doom and gloom. But it needs to be addressed.

Much hope everyone
