Here's a little something that I posted to LinkedIn after the treasonous vote to elect another traitor as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Mike Johnson is a bad joke for democracy

If you are addicted to your Republican political identity, this post is not for you. While that I refuse to back big money political parties, of any kind, I sure as hell will honor my miliary oath, “to protect and defend the constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

The GOP, in a brazen display of violating their oaths of office, have fully endorsed an election denier as the Speaker of the House of Representatives. If you see the following as a mini rant… you are correct.

Outside of the Civil War, this is the most disgraceful and treasonous act in American History. It’s not just about election denial, but it’s about a party, that still regularly spews Putin’s narratives and talking points. One that gives our tax dollars to American Oligarchs and openly embraces White Christian Nationalism.

There is not one damn thing patriotic with any elected Republican in the House of Representatives. For that matter, in the Senate either. Hey Mitch McConnell, are you listening?

“The only people that can save America from the acute national security threat from the MAGA dominated GOP, is ironically the GOP itself. Don't hold your breath.

Now, after three, precedent setting weeks of dangerous dysfunction, they have elected a full-throated election denier. Not one GOP congressman will stand up and resist the insanity.

Picture this, a man, two steps from the Oval office, does not believe in the election that he was re-elected in and that the orange traitor lost, by a huge margin.

I will never back any big money party, but I would not be fulfilling my military oath, if I did not fight back against this treasonous party.

Most disgraceful are the 72, elected GOP reps in US Congress that are too cowardly to fulfil their congressional or military oaths. My congressman in #Texas 23, Tony Gonzalez is one of them. Where are the true patriots that will stand for our constitution. Well, I can tell you where they are not... in the Republican party. Whatever your political beliefs, you cannot be a "principled anything" unless you will honor your oath and tell the truth.

The current GOP is nothing more than a band of rogue traitors, hellbent on destroying American democracy. If you are one of those seventy-two... yes, Tony Gonzalez, I'm talking to you, then you are just as treasonous as the orange guy who sold out America. That will be your legacy, not your military service! My home state of Texas is full of these fake patriots. It's not just Tony Gonzalez.

Well, at least this makes Putin and the oligarchs happy!
