The impeachment hearing today in the House of Representatives, while our budget is going into the toilet... provoked this rant.

This mini rant needed to be said out loud and sternly. The words below are from a post I made on LinkedIn an hour or so before posting here.

As they say, truth hurts!

Kevin McCarthy/ Office of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, like Nero, watches while the republic burns. This type of post often costs TAT several subscribers but… someone, or rather everyone, MUST say, that “enough is enough.”

This circus on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives of Representatives is complete; with clowns, carnival barkers, conmen hawking impossible to win games on the Midway and worse. The only difference is that watching this three-ring circus, is not entertaining... it is a disgrace to every honest American citizen, regardless of party.

Today's MAGA dominated GOP, has zero to do with principled conservatism. They are an extremist movement, hellbent on destroying American democracy. While that I don't give a d@#% about big money political parties, I sure as hell will do my legal best, to make sure that there is accountability to what McCarthy, McConnell and the rest have done to our republic. They are breaking the backs of working Americans to scam our hard-earned tax dollars for their favorite oligarchs, American, Russian and otherwise.

Only a damn fool would believe the divisive culture wars that they have used to distract, from their rape of our treasury, their undermining of our national security and even threatening to turn our once prestigious republic, into a pathetic, Taliban-like theocracy.

Here's the challenge to those who would argue, I dare you to provide credible sources to prove me wrong. I will delete any other conspiratorial or dishonest response so as not to perpetuate conspiracy theories. If you are a principled conservative, where is your spine? Where is YOUR outrage?

There isn't a single republican in the US Congress, House or Senate, who will stand up against treason, armed insurrections, corruption on a grand scale and the conspiracy theories used as a party platform, and that actually deny the 2020 election. Yes, I'm looking at you Greg Abbott who heads up the Texas Taliban.

This isn't politics to me. It's national security at a most serious level.

So MAGA extremists, it's time to put up or shut up.
