TAT readers,
Not long ago, I announced that since I write fairly often on the same or similar topics, that I would add bi-annual journals, time-permitting. Topics that share enough in common will be grouped into independent journals such as History, Texas, National Security, Influence Operations, Russia, China, MAGA, Crime, the border, the Axis of Evil (China, Russia, Iran and N. Korea) etc.
Today is the prototype for these journals for you to peruse, and I am beginning with Texas, my home state. I chose Texas because of her perpetual and disgraceful commitment to what I call, “The Four Horsemen of the MAGA Apocalypse,” Autocracy, Oligarchy, White Christian Nationalism and Violent Extremism.
Those who live in other deep red states, will also recognize the Texas traits in their own leadership as well.
To be clear, my issue from a national security perspective is that MAGA, is a severe and omnipresent threat to our constitutional republic. I don’t attack principled conservatives, liberals or any other system of beliefs, politically, religiously or otherwise, that adhere to our constitution as the backbone of our constitutional republic. MAGA though is in my professional opinion, an extreme, right-wing violent extremist movement, hellbent on overthrowing the constitution in lieu of what I described above, as the Four Horsemen of the MAGA Apocalypse.
As I announced a couple of weeks ago, these journals will be available to paid subscribers although, back issues of TAT will still remain in the public archives. For today and maybe even the next journal, based on everyone’s feedback, today’s work remains for everyone. The biggest difference between the archives and today, is that I will write an updated overview for each published journal, in order to put the collection into context.
As that TAT is now two years old, this first journal will have a great many essays within. Bi-annual editions will have between 4-7 essays so as to not overburden readers, with too much reading.
I hope that you will look through and consider this concept and I look forward to hearing input.
My very best to all,
Paul
